The ship was built by the Boot brothers in 1912 in Vrijenban, not far from Leiden. The ship was used for freight and sailed European internal waters. The ship was rebuilt several times until 1997. For example, it was lengthened and a motor was installed.
I bought the ship in 1997 and rebuilt it into a luxury 2-mast sailing ship in the following winter. The ship was shortened during rebuilding and the decks and masts were replaced. The cargo space has been converted into guest accommodations.
The ship has been used for charters since 1998.
